Can I put things in my motorcycle?
The way it works is that trucking companies that only use giant, 10-car carriers aren’t licensed to transport household goods because there’s no place to put it! The difference, however, is the enclosed transport service that many companies offer. If you’re looking to transport some boxes along with your motorcycle, companies that use enclosed trailers and trucks are licensed to do that. But don’t pack your motorcycle full of boxes if it’s going onto a giant, open truck, because that’s illegal. The gray area is the trunk. Most motorcycle transport companies allow you to have up to 100 pounds in the trunk only. This means blankets, pillows, maybe some clothes...loose stuff. By putting miscellaneous junk in your trunk, so to speak, you’re not transporting “household goods” but rather just some “stuff” that happens to be in your trunk. This can change, however, if you decide you’d like your stereo to stay in the trunk, because this can be seen as household goods. So no electronics at all in the motorcycle, and you can never have anything in the cab. Loose change and some candy wrappers are okay, but nothing big.

Motorcycle Carrier QuoteAn motorcycle carrier quote is a quote that a customer receives from an motorcycle carrier or an motorcycle carrier company. These are actually fairly rare in the motorcycle transport industry as most quotes are given by motorcycle transport brokers and not carriers. Carriers will give their transportation prices to the transport broker, or ask for more money if it is a difficult or long route, but most customers don’t normally talk about money with motorcycle carriers. There are rare instances where motorcycle carriers give their own quotes to customers; this often happens when a customer comes across an motorcycle carrier company on the internet. Many times, motorcycle carrier quotes are higher than one for the same route from an motorcycle transport transport brokerage, mainly because the truck driver is interested in getting as much money as he can; this is why motorcycle transport brokerages are used much more frequently, because it keeps the prices low.
Auto Hauler Quote
an auto hauler quote is exactly what it sounds like – a quote from an auto hauler company. most auto hauler quotes actually come from the drivers themselves, who are contacted to pickup and deliver vehicles for brokerages. auto hauler quotes are mostly given to brokerages themselves as opposed to customers, and many auto hauler quotes to customers are higher than they are to brokerages because they are given by companies who typically don’t get freight from brokers. read article...
Bad news for people who like good news..
apparently there is this argument that big suv’s and big trucks are a major profit maker, especially for the big 3 in detroit. now i will be the first to admit that earlier in the decade this was an absolute truth. somewhere around 2003, everything was about bigger and better. read article...
Lower Oil Prices Mean Good Things, Bad Things
oil prices jumped to $44 per barrel today, which has finally seen a wrap on a turbulent year of ups-and-downs for the oil industry, including the prices that consumers see at the pump, including the industry giving up four years of solid monetary gains in just five months.
the global economy isn’t helping matters.
gasoline prices have been slashed (in some places) by over 50%, but these drops aren’t expected to last. read article...

I am idealogically opposed to Something, however it appears that this will cause me to no longer be popular. Therefore, I say we should do Something and I am deeply troubled that we have not already done Something by now!
